The service

MaseWeb is a managed website service run by Smarteer. We design, build, host and update a website for your business for as long as your plan is active.

Your address

Your free address (yourname.maseweb.com) belongs to MaseWeb and is lent to you while your plan is active. If you connect your own domain, the domain stays yours.

Paying

Plans are paid in advance, monthly or yearly, plus 18% GST. After you sign up, the first payment is due within 3 days. If it is not paid, your address is switched off but kept for you until we release it. Later bills are due on your renewal date; a site unpaid 7 days after its due date is paused until payment is received.

Traffic

Each plan includes a monthly amount of traffic. Going over it never takes your site down: it loads more slowly until the 1st of the next month.

Your content

Text, photos, logos and other material you give us stay yours. You confirm you have the right to use them, and that your business and website are lawful. We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading or harmful, and close accounts used for fraud or phishing.

Masebot chatbot

Masebot is an AI chatbot service by Smarteer that you add to your own website. It answers your visitors using the knowledge you give it.

Masebot has a Free plan and paid plans. Each plan has a monthly limit on messages. Paid plans are paid monthly or yearly in advance, plus 18% GST. You can upgrade or downgrade any time, and you can buy extra messages if you need them. When your messages run out, the bot shows your fallback message to visitors until the next month starts.

You are responsible for the knowledge you give the bot, and for telling your own website visitors about the chat, for example in your own privacy notice. The bot's answers are written by AI and can be wrong, so please check the answers that matter.

We may suspend a bot that is used for spam, fraud or unlawful content. Free accounts are for genuine businesses only. We may close duplicate or abusive free accounts.

Cancelling

Plans are month to month with 30 days notice. On cancellation the website goes offline, and we can send you your content on request.
